Budget Prioritises Skilled Migrations

Almost 70 per cent of places in Australia’s migration places will be offered to skilled migrants, with priority given to employer-sponsored visa – in other words, workers with job offers in Australia.
The coming financial year’s migration program has 190,000 places, which includes 128,500 places for skilled migrants, 60,885 places for family members and 565 places for the special eligibility stream.
