BUSINESS VISASYou may be eligible for a Business Visa if:

  1. You are less than 55 years old.
  2. You have owned part of a business for more than two years:
    1. If the turnover is less than $400,000, then you need to own 51%.
    2. If the turnover exceeds $400,000, then you need to own 30%.
    3. If the company is publicly listed, then you need to own 10%.
  3. That business has a turnover exceeding $300,000 per year.
  4. Your net asset position exceeds $1,125,000 for the last 2 years.

Stage One: This visa is a 4 year temporary visa, entitling you to live, work, invest, conduct business etcetera. During those four years you need to invest in an Australian business so that you can seek permanent residency.

Stage Two: This visa is converted into a permanent residency visa once:

  1. You have run an Australian business for two years, with a turnover exceeding $200,000.00.
  2. Your business employs the equivalent of one Australian employee.

Please note that there are other criteria, and the above is based on us successfully securing State Sponsorship for you.

We are experienced in successfully applications for State Sponsorship, and we recommend seeking same as it reduces the eligibility requirements for age, turnover, and employment of Australians.

Business visas do require the ability to understand financial reports, and business structures, so that your business holdings can be presented to the DIAC in a form that satisfies the requirements.

We liaise with your accountant and/or auditor to arrange this.

We can also advise you on your intended business investment, taxation structures, commercial agreements, business purchases etcetera.

ROLLS ROYCE BUSINESS VISAS

If your turnover exceeds A$3,000,000.00 per annum, then you may be eligible for what we call the “Rolls Royce” business visa – this leads to immediate permanent residency (without the need for two stages).

These visas are highly specialised, and require securing State Sponsorship. We have successfully secured these visas for our clients which include car manufacturers who set up operations in Australia.

INVESTOR VISASYou may be eligible for an Investment Visa if:

  1. You are less than 55 years old.
  2. You have investments that are worth more than $750,000; or
you have managed a business where you had at least 10% ownership interest within the past 5 years.
  3. Your net asset position exceeds $1,125,000 for the last 2 years.

Stage One: We arrange a 4 year temporary visa, entitling you to live, work, invest, conduct business etcetera. You then need to invest $750,000 into a designated investment in Australia for four years. The designated investments are usually government Bonds, which yield around 4% per annum, with interest paid to you every 6 months.

Stage Two: This visa is converted into a permanent residency visa once the funds have been in the designated investment for four years, at which point the funds are released.

Please note that there are other criteria, and the above is based on us successfully securing State Sponsorship for you.

We are experienced in successfully applications for State Sponsorship, and we recommend seeking same as it reduces both the required age, and the amount that has to be invested for four years to secure permanent residency.
