Looking to lodge a visa application relatively soon? Your visa application could be affected!
The Department of Home Affairs has announced its annual increase to visa lodgement fees for a large majority of visa classes. However, the Visitor
(subclass 600) visa will be unaffected.
Most visa types will face an increase of 5.4%, taking effect on the 1st of July 2019.
See the current and approximated increased fees for common visa types below:
|Visa||Current fee||Increased fee|
|General Skilled Migration||$3755||$3958|
|Graduate Temporary (Subclass 485)||$1535||$1618|
|Parent (contributory) first installment||$340- $3855||$358- $4063|
We suggest if your visa application is ready for lodgement, to do so sooner rather than later to avoid paying any increased costs after the 1st of July.
