EMPLOYER SPONSORED VISAS

These visas are designed to allow Australian businesses to employ foreign workers. The employer needs to be willing to sponsor you and to pay a salary of at least $49,330.00 plus 9% superannuation.
These visas are usually for between one and four years and they allow you to live and work here.
The Subclass 457 work visa can be converted to a Subclass 856 permanent residency work visa upon the earlier of:

  1. the foreign worker being sponsored for two years, or
  2. the foreign worker getting their skills assessed, or
  3. the foreign worker being paid more than $180,000.00 plus super.

If we lodge your work visa application whilst you are in Australia, then we can get a bridging visa for you which allows you to stay in Australia until the DIAC make their decision.

 The hardest part is finding a willing Australian business to sponsor you. We have been helping our clients to with these visas for years and we do our best to make sure:

  1. That the Australian business is not scared off by the obligations that attach to sponsorship (we have the answers to all concerns).
  2. That the Australian business is not put to unnecessary work in giving us what we need (we minimise their work and help them).
  3. That the Australian business will want to help you get permanent residency.
  4. That you arrange your skills assessment as soon as possible, so that you can apply for permanent residency as early as possible.
