The Australian Capital Territory has announced that as of Friday 3 April 2015, they will no longer accept applications for the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) Visa from overseas residents, due to meeting their migration quota for the year
They will reopen applications for overseas residents on 1 July 2015.
Those who already live in the ACT are still able to apply for nominations for the 190 Visa.
This reiterates how important it is to apply for State or Territory nomination as soon as the migration year starts (every 1 July), as your desired State or Territory can stop accepting applications with minimal notice.
