Agoston Tamas was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2006, and he holds a Master of Laws Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Queensland University of Technology.
As an immigration lawyer, Tamas is experienced in providing assistance across a range of permanent and temporary visa streams, as well as preparing Ministerial Intervention applications and representing clients with more complex migration matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Tamas is a Registered Migration Agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARN 1069107), and he maintains registration as a Canadian Immigration Consultant with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.
Tamas has also been conferred a Certificate of Qualification by the National Committee on Accreditation, a standing committee of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
Tamas’ professional affiliations include membership in Migration Institute of Australia and Migration Alliance.
An alumni of Yale University (M.M.), Tamas takes an interest in linguistics and is fluent in several languages including Swedish and Hungarian.
