Looking to lodge a visa application relatively soon? Your visa application could be affected!
The Department of Home Affairs has announced increases to its visa lodgement fees to a large majority of visa classes.
These increases will begin to take effect the 1st of July, 2018.
The fees are increasing between a humble $5.00 up to a more substantial increase of $160.00.
Not only has the Department of Home Affairs announced changes to its visa lodgement fees, they have also announced increases to the credit card surcharge for visa applications. This fee will increase from 0.98% to 1.32% come the 1st of July.
We suggest if your visa application is ready for lodgement, to do so sooner rather than later to avoid paying any increased costs after the 1st of July.
