Vietnamese people aged between 18 and 30 will soon be able to apply for the ever-popular Work and Holiday (Subclass 462) Visa. This visa allows people to live, work and study in Australia for up to a year. Countries already on the list for this visa include Israel, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Poland, Argentina, Bangladesh, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Turkey, the United States and Uruguay. Applicants must have the support of their government for this visa, hold or be studying towards tertiary qualifications and speak functional English.
Countries with which similar agreements may soon be made include Mexico, Hungary, San Marino, the Czech Republic, Latvia, the Slovak Republic and Andorra.
